About
PAST
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dayna Price first performed on the professional stage at the age of 9. She continued there until, she was approached at the age of 12 by a manager who began referring Dayna for work in film and television. Dayna immediately began booking jobs and working consistently on the screen. After juggling a career both on stage and screen into her adulthood, in late 2006, Dayna decided to relocate to New York City. She began attending open calls and was approached by a musical director to perform regularly at a Cabaret Club. She was also cast in several readings and workshops of new works.
PRESENT
Currently residing in New York City, Dayna frequently visits her hometown of Los Angeles, in pursuit of furthering her career as a performer. Dayna is currently rehearsing her Cabaret Show debut, In A World Of My Own, which she hopes to perform in both cities this year, as well as market to Cruise Lines and venues in Atlantic City, New Jersey & Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also working on material from a new musical by composer Stephanie Riso, entitled, Another Day, Another Dream. As she continues auditioning, she also studies voice regularly with Tony Richards and takes dance at Broadway Dance Center.
FUTURE
As Dayna looks ahead, her goals are to continue working as a performer. She hopes her versatility will soon attract representation as shes keeping her options open to a large realm of possibilities and opportunities. She will continue working diligently on her cabaret show, and is auditioning with a focus on Musical Theatre. She has also considered spending pilot season in Los Angeles to return to the small screen. Her biggest endeavor however, is that she will be entering the recording studio to begin work on an album which will have a release to coincide with her Cabaret debut, the album will also be entitled, In A World Of My Own.
